The moment I walked up to Konstytucji 3 Maja 10A, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the outside – it’s this unassuming building tucked into Karpacz’s quieter residential stretch. But step inside and it’s like someone took all the frustrating bits about typical vacation rentals and just… fixed them. The 9.4 rating suddenly made perfect sense.
The apartments themselves feel like someone’s stylish friend let you borrow their place for the week. I mean, everything actually works – and I say that as someone who’s dealt with more broken coffee makers and temperamental showers than I care to count. The kitchens are properly equipped (not just a sad mini-fridge and two plates), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every time it rains. What really got me though was the attention to small stuff that property owners usually overlook – decent lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, proper blackout curtains for sleeping in. The kind of details that tell you someone who actually travels had a hand in setting these places up.
Location-wise, you’re about a ten-minute walk from the main Krupówki pedestrian area where all the tourist action happens, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk groups stumbling back from the bars at 2 AM. It’s perfect if you want to pop down for dinner or souvenir shopping but prefer coming back to somewhere that feels more residential than hotel-district hectic. Parking was surprisingly painless too – there’s actually space for your car, which honestly puts it ahead of half the places I’ve stayed in Polish mountain towns. The walk to the cable car stations is totally doable, though I’d probably drive if I was hauling ski equipment or traveling with kids. What impressed me most was how the owners seem to get that people come to Karpacz to actually relax, not wrestle with accommodation problems. Check-in was smooth, communication was clear, and when I had a (very minor) question about the heating, someone got back to me within an hour. It’s that rare combination of feeling like you have your own space while knowing there’s competent help if you need it.
