It’s tucked away on Kasprusie street – honestly, I had to ask for directions the first time because it’s not right on the main drag, but that ended up being one of its best features. You’re close enough to walk to Krupówki (maybe 10-15 minutes if you don’t mind a little uphill), but far enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back at 2 AM.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly well put together for a 3-star place. I mean, when I saw the 9 rating online I was a bit skeptical – you know how these things go – but they’ve actually earned it. The kitchenette is properly equipped (not just some sad mini-fridge situation), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a pretzel all night. What really sold me was the little details… there’s decent water pressure in the shower, the WiFi actually works throughout the space, and they’ve got blackout curtains that mean something when you’re trying to sleep off a day of hiking in the Tatras. The decor is clean and modern without being sterile – sort of that Scandinavian-influenced style that’s everywhere now, but done well.

Here’s the thing about staying here – you’re getting that authentic Zakopane residential vibe without sacrificing comfort. The building itself is quiet (mostly locals living there, I think), and there’s parking available which honestly is worth its weight in gold during peak season. I stayed in September and the whole area had this lovely calm energy, with kids heading to school in the mornings and older folks tending their gardens. You’ll probably end up shopping for groceries at the little market nearby instead of eating out every meal, which saves money and gives you a better feel for how people actually live here. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the check-in process requires a bit of coordination – it’s not like a hotel where someone’s always at the front desk – but the owners are responsive and helpful once you connect with them. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like borrowing a friend’s well-appointed apartment than staying in a generic hotel room, this place delivers on that promise.
