The moment you walk onto that terrace they mention, you get it. I mean, you’re looking straight up at Wielka Krokiew, and depending on when you visit, you might catch some serious ski jumping action. But here’s what I really loved – after spending the day hiking around Morskie Oko or dealing with the crowds on Krupówki, coming back to that jacuzzi was honestly life-changing. The sauna’s compact but does the job perfectly, especially when your legs are screaming from all those Tatra trails. The whole setup feels like someone actually thought about what tired travelers need, not just what looks good in photos.

What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re close enough to walk to the main strip without breaking a sweat. Goszczyńskiego is one of those streets that feels residential but isn’t completely cut off from everything – you know what I mean? Parking wasn’t the nightmare I expected either, which if you’ve driven in Zakopane during peak season, you’ll appreciate. The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that a lot of these mountain rentals miss. Everything works properly (the hot water pressure is actually decent), and there are enough little touches that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere special rather than just another Airbnb. I particularly loved how the windows frame the mountain views – you wake up and there’s Giewont just sitting there like it’s showing off.

The only thing I’d mention is that if you’re here during jumping season, it can get pretty buzzy with crowds heading to the hill, but honestly? That energy is part of what makes Zakopane special. Plus, you’re right there if you want to catch a competition, and tucked away enough to escape when you don’t. For a 4-star place, it punches way above its weight – that 9 rating isn’t just inflated review stuff, it’s actually earned.
