What really impressed me was how the owners clearly thought about the details that matter when you’re actually staying somewhere for more than just a quick photo op. The apartment itself feels lived-in in the best way – not like some sterile rental that’s been stripped of personality. There’s proper kitchen equipment (not just the bare minimum), decent Wi-Fi that actually works when you need to upload those Giewont sunset shots, and – this might sound small but trust me – really good blackout curtains. After a day of hiking in the Tatras, you want to sleep in without being woken up by that intense mountain sunshine at 5 AM.
