You know what? When I first heard the name “Apartament z Innej Bajki” (which translates to “Apartment from Another Fairy Tale”), I honestly thought it might be one of those places that promises magic but delivers mediocre. I was wrong – this place actually lives up to its whimsical name, and the 9-star rating isn’t just Polish politeness.
Located right on Rysulówka street in Kościelisko, you’re basically positioned perfectly between the tourist chaos of Zakopane and the authentic mountain village life that most visitors never experience. I mean, Kościelisko is where locals go when they want to escape the crowds, but you’re still only about 10 minutes from all the action if you need it. The apartment itself feels like someone’s beloved mountain retreat that they’ve decided to share – there’s this warmth to the place that you don’t get in typical hotel rooms. The furnishings have that cozy, lived-in quality without being shabby, and honestly, the attention to detail surprised me. Little things like proper blackout curtains (trust me, you’ll appreciate this after a day of hiking), a kitchen that’s actually equipped for real cooking, and – this might sound silly – but the shower pressure is fantastic, which is rarer than you’d think in mountain accommodations.
What really sets this place apart though is the location knowledge you get. The hosts clearly know their stuff about the Tatra region, and you’ll find yourself with insider tips about trails that aren’t packed with tour groups and restaurants where you won’t pay tourist prices. Parking isn’t a nightmare here like it can be closer to Zakopane’s center, and the neighborhood stays pretty quiet even during peak season – though you’ll still hear the occasional group of hikers getting an early start, which is kind of charming actually. The whole area has this fairy tale quality, especially in winter when everything’s covered in snow and you can see the Tatra peaks from the windows. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself extending your stay because checking out feels like leaving a friend’s house. Just book early if you’re planning a summer visit – places like this that balance authenticity with comfort tend to fill up fast once word gets around.

Our vacation in Zakopane definitely wouldn't have been as great if we hadn't stayed at this place. It was so great that we stayed 4 nights instead of the planned 2 nights. The location with a great view of the mountains, trees, and sheep in the meadow created a feeling of being in complete harmony with nature. This place will definitely appeal to those who value a view of the mountains not only from the window but even from the bed, silence and cleanliness.
The owners are fantastic people, recommended both the best sights in Zakopane and hiking trails. We spent one day at Energyland and came back late in the evening and to our surprise delicious tea and soup were left at the door of the apartment. Thank you!

Cudowna obsługa.
Przepiękny kominek, który nadawał uroku i tak pięknemu wnętrzu. Drewno o kamień wszędzie. Gustownie i klimatycznie.
To miejsce jest po prostu wyjątkowe! Apartament był przecudowny, gra luster i oświetlenia sprawiała, że czuliśmy się jak w prawdziwej bajce. Efekt wow dopełnia wyjątkowy kominek w centralnej części apartamentu. Było to idealne miejsce na wypoczynek od zgiełku miasta z cudownym widokiem na panoramę Tatr. Cudowna gospodyni dopełnia cały urok tego miejsca ! Po przyjeździe czekała na nas pyszna ciepła herbatka, a w apartamencie grała jazzowa muzyka, która wprawiała w wyjątkowy nastrój. Kolejnym plusem jest świetna restauracja (Góralski dwór) ok 30min piechotą od apartamentu. Naprawdę nic więcej nie trzeba aby w pełni zrelaksować się w tym miejscu. Tu znaleźliśmy swoje ulubione miejsce i na pewno będziemy tutaj wracać ! I pieski są tutaj mile widziane :-)))
Nazwa apartamentu na prawdę pasująca do obiektu. Pierwszy raz zatrzymaliśmy się w tak zaskakującym i bajkowym miejscu. Samo oświetlenie LED i kominek w samym centrum apartamentu robi niesamowity klimat, szczególnie wieczorami. Przestronnie, a zarazem przytulnie, w sypialni bardzo wygodne, duże łóżko z widokiem na góry. Polecamy się zatrzymać choćby na 2 dni :) W łazience wanna, z akcesoriami jak w małym SPA (sól, balsamy, kadzidełka, żele i szampony). Polecamy :-) Właścicielka przemiła, którą gorąco pozdrawiamy :)

Z INNEJ BAJKI to naprawdę trafiona nazwa :) apartament jest bardzo przestronny. Może aż za bardzo bo odkładaliśmy coś a potem tego szukaliśmy :D bajeczny widok z okien i balkonu. Czyściutko, cieplutko, na wyposażeniu wszystko co potrzebne do codziennego funkcjonowania. Ba! Nawet ręcznik papierowy, ktory jest bardzo rzadko spotykany. Niesamowita aranżacja łazienki. Wszechobecne lustra dodają "bajkowości" i sprawiają, że mieszkanie wygląda jak magiczny labirynt :) pyszne śniadania serwowane przez przesympatyczną, przemiłą i przeuroczą Panią właścicielkę :) szczerze? Dopiero wróciliśmy a już kombinujemy kiedy tu wrócić :) polecamy z całego serca!!!
Bajkowe miejsce w spokojnej okolicy, oryginalny i przestrzenny apartament. Gospodyni przemiła i bardzo pomocna. Lokalizacja idealna na wypady do Doliny Kościeliskiej i Chochołowskiej. Na pewno wrócimy :)
