You’re looking straight at one of the most iconic peaks in the Tatras, and honestly, I spent way too much time out there with my morning coffee just staring at it. The apartment itself is solid – nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s clean, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in the area. Also, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Krupówki Street where all the restaurants and shops are, which I actually loved because it meant I got some exercise after all those pierogi and oscypek tastings. The area around Pardałówka is where more locals live, so you’ll see kids playing in the streets and people going about their daily lives rather than just tourists with cameras. There’s a little grocery store nearby that saved me multiple times when I needed basics without trekking into town. The owner was pretty responsive when I had questions, and check-in was smooth – no standing around waiting for someone to show up like I’ve experienced at other places. Is it luxury? No. But for a 3-star place with that view and the peace you get being slightly removed from the tourist circus, it’s honestly a solid choice. If you’re the type who wants to experience Zakopane without feeling like you’re in the middle of a theme park, this place gets it right.
