Apartament Widokowe Marzenie – blisko stoku, parking podziemny by SpaceApart
Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of mountain apartments over the years, and Apartament Widokowe Marzenie genuinely surprised me – in the best way possible. The name literally means “View Dream” and honestly, they’re not overselling it. When you walk into this place on Kąpielowa street, you immediately get why it has that 9.2 rating.
First thing that hit me was how quiet it actually is, despite being so close to Karpacz’s main ski area. You know how some “near the slopes” places end up being right on a busy road with ski buses rumbling past at dawn? Not here. Kąpielowa is tucked away enough that you get proper sleep, but you can literally walk to the lifts in maybe 10 minutes – I timed it because I’m that kind of traveler. The underground parking situation is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving up from Wrocław or wherever. I mean, scraping ice off your car at 7 AM in the Sudeten Mountains gets old fast, so having that covered spot was perfect.
What really sets this SpaceApart property apart though is the attention to actual living details. The kitchen has everything you’d actually use (not just the bare minimum), the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone in the building takes a shower, and the heating system actually works – which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many mountain places get that wrong. The views they’re talking about in the name? Yeah, they deliver. You can see the ski runs from the windows, and in summer I imagine you’d have a pretty spectacular view of the hiking trails heading up toward Śnieżka.
The whole building feels well-maintained in that solid European way – thick walls, proper insulation, doors that actually close properly. Check-in was smooth through their system, though I’d recommend downloading their app beforehand because cell service can be spotty in the valleys around Karpacz. One small thing – the nearest grocery store is about a 15-minute walk down toward the town center, so if you’re planning to cook (which the kitchen definitely supports), maybe grab supplies on your way in.
Honestly, for the location and quality, I was expecting to pay more. Karpacz has gotten pretty touristy in recent years, especially since the Czech border restrictions, but this place manages to feel like you’re getting insider access rather than just another rental. The whole area around Kąpielowa street has this residential vibe that most visitors miss – you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the main tourist chaos around the market square.
