There’s decent parking right there, which if you’ve ever tried to find a spot near the center of Karpacz during peak season, you’ll appreciate why that matters. The Wi-Fi actually works properly too, unlike some places I’ve stayed in smaller Polish mountain towns where you’re lucky to load your email.

I keep coming back to the location because it really is the sweet spot. You’re still in walking distance of the gondola station if you want to head up to Kopa, but you’re also positioned perfectly if you prefer hiking the trails that start from the quieter side of town. Plus, there’s this little bakery about five minutes away where locals actually go – not one of those tourist traps – and their oscypek is legitimately good. The apartment gets plenty of natural light during the day, which made those rainy afternoons when I was stuck inside much more bearable. And look, I’m not saying it’s perfect – the shower pressure could be stronger, and if you’re the type who needs everything to be brand new and shiny, you might want to manage expectations.
