The name made me expect some massive ski lodge, but it’s actually this intimate little spot tucked right on Marii Konopnickiej street – which, honestly, puts you in the perfect position to walk everywhere in Karpacz without dealing with the main drag chaos. I mean, you’re literally a few minutes from the cable car up to Śnieżka, but far enough from the tourist crowds that you can actually hear yourself think.

The black and white theme isn’t just some random design choice either – they really committed to it, and somehow it works without feeling stark or cold. The apartments have this clean, modern vibe that’s refreshing after you’ve spent all day hiking through the Karkonosze mountains. What I really appreciated was the kitchen setup (because let’s be real, eating out every meal in Polish mountain towns gets expensive fast), and the fact that you can actually spread out your gear without tripping over everything. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which matters when you’re trying to upload those summit photos or check weather conditions for the next day’s adventures.

Here’s the thing about this location – everyone talks about being close to the slopes, but what they don’t mention is how easy it makes exploring the quieter side of the Giant Mountains. You can walk to the trailheads without needing a car, and there’s this little local bakery maybe two blocks away where you can grab proper Polish pastries for breakfast instead of hotel buffet nonsense. The parking situation is actually manageable too, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Karpacz during peak season will tell you is worth its weight in gold. I stayed there in late spring when the hiking trails were opening up but the ski crowds had cleared out – perfect timing, really.
