The name makes it sound way more complicated than it actually is – it’s basically just a really solid apartment rental with the one thing that matters most in Karpacz: guaranteed parking. And honestly, after driving around those winding mountain roads trying to find a spot anywhere near the center, having your own dedicated space feels like winning the lottery.

The location on Nad Łomnicą is actually pretty clever – you’re close enough to walk to the main drag where all the restaurants and cable car stations are, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tourists trudging past your window at 6 AM with their hiking boots and oversized backpacks. I mean, Karpacz can get absolutely packed during ski season and summer hiking months, so being able to retreat to somewhere that feels more residential is honestly refreshing. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you consider that most people are just relieved to find decent accommodation that doesn’t cost a fortune – this area isn’t exactly overflowing with options, especially ones where you don’t have to haul your luggage up three flights of narrow stairs.

What I really appreciated was how functional everything felt without trying too hard to be fancy. The apartment has that practical Polish approach – good Wi-Fi (crucial when you’re planning hiking routes or checking weather conditions), a kitchen that’s actually equipped well enough to make real meals, and windows that properly block out sound when you need to sleep off a day of tramping around the Karkonosze mountains. The owners clearly understand what people actually need when they’re using Karpacz as a base for exploring the region, rather than just staying one night and moving on. You’ll find yourself coming back tired and possibly muddy from trails like the one up to Śnieżka, and there’s something to be said for having space to spread out and do laundry instead of cramming everything into a tiny hotel room. The whole setup just works – it’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in for a few days without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to make the most of this corner of the Sudetes.
