The bed was comfortable enough that I overslept my first morning, which rarely happens when I’m traveling. Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned for exploring the Karkonosze Mountains without dealing with the crowds that pack into the hotels closer to the cable car stations. It’s maybe a fifteen-minute walk to the main attractions, but that little bit of distance means you get to experience Karpacz more like a local would. Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be elsewhere in town – there’s actually space for your car, which is worth its weight in gold during peak season. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who needs constant restaurant options right outside your door, you might find it a bit quiet, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. The rating of 9 out of 10 makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s one of those places that exceeds your expectations in small but meaningful ways, and you find yourself already planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.
