Karpacz gets absolutely wild during ski season, but this street feels like you’ve found this secret pocket of calm just a few minutes’ walk from all the chaos.

The apartment itself is one of those places that photographs well but somehow feels even cozier in person. I stayed here in March when the snow was still thick on the Karkonosze peaks, and waking up to that view through the windows – well, it’s the kind of thing that makes you understand why this place has a 9.4 rating. The owner clearly gets that travelers want actual comfort, not just Instagram-worthy décor. I ended up chatting with a German couple who were staying in another apartment in the same building, and they’d been coming back to this street for three years running. That tells you something right there. If you’re planning to visit during winter, book early because places like this fill up fast, and if you’re coming in summer for the hiking, you’ll still love having a proper base camp that doesn’t feel like a generic hotel room. It’s one of those stays where you actually feel like you’re living in Karpacz for a few days rather than just passing through.
