You know what really struck me about Apartament Słowackiego? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Karpacz, but you’re literally a five-minute walk from all the action. I mean, when I first pulled up to Juliusza Słowackiego 5, I thought maybe I’d gotten the address wrong – it felt too peaceful to be so close to the main tourist strip. But honestly, that’s exactly what makes this place special.
The apartment itself has that lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. You walk in and it actually feels like someone’s home, not a sterile hotel room with generic art on the walls. The kitchen is properly equipped too – I’m talking real coffee maker, decent pots and pans, the kind of setup where you can actually cook if you want to save some money instead of eating out every meal. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (you never know with apartment rentals), and the shower had proper water pressure, which is honestly a small miracle in some of these mountain towns. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re far enough from the main drag that you don’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around, but close enough that you can walk to restaurants without needing a car.
Here’s the thing about Karpacz that most people don’t realize until they’re there – parking can be absolutely brutal during peak season, especially if you’re staying near the center. But this spot? There’s actually space to park without circling the block fifteen times or paying ridiculous daily fees. The owner clearly knows the area well because they’ve thought through all those little details that make or break a mountain getaway. Plus, if you’re planning to hit Śnieżka or any of the hiking trails, you’re positioned perfectly – close enough to get an early start without the chaos of staying right in the thick of things. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it just works really well for what most people actually want from a Karpacz base camp.

We had a great time in this apartment. It has everything you need for a long-term stay, even the equipment you don’t expect to have. Perfect location. Communication was lovely as well. I do recommend it.

Very complete appartment (oven, dishwasher, washing machine, ..), good parking space, good location to start hikes. The owner is very responsive for questions. Eg, there is a rack for drying clothes under the bed. You have to press a light switch behind the water cooker for the suction for cooking (it was in Polish).
We really enjoyed the space of the sofa, lot's of light. Take an eye-mask as the appartment is not so dark for sleeping.
What could be improved: The wifi router had to be rebooted several times. Some pictures could be helpful on where to park (some neighbours showed us) and find the keys. You have to open the (first) door to the actual appartment (it has 2 door) to find the keys.

To już nasz drugi pobyt w tym miejscu, tym razem na dłużej. Nasza opinia się nie zmieniła. Wszystko zgodne z opisem i zdjęciami. Apartament jest bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Przyjechaliśmy z mężem do Karpacza trochę wcześniej i bez problemu mogliśmy zostawić auto pod budynkiem. Kilka minut od apartamentu znajduje się przystanek, z którego można wybrać się na wycieczki z miejscowymi biurami podróży lub indywidualne. Blisko centrum, a jednak na tyle na uboczu, że jest cicho i spokojnie. Serdecznie polecamy!

Czysty, przestronny apartament w klimatycznym, ponad stuletnim domu. Niepotrzebnie obawiałem się, czy w tak starym domu na pewno zimą będzie ciepło - było bardzo ciepło :) Świetnym pomysłem jest umieszczona na ścianie galeria zdjęć domu i okolicy zmieniających się na przestrzeni lat. Lokalizacja bardzo nam odpowiadała, miejsce nieco oddalone od głównej ulicy, dzięki czemu nie przeszkadzał żaden hałas, a jednocześnie spacerkiem można spokojnie dojść do pobliskich sklepów czy punktów gastronomicznych.

Apartament duży, złożony tak naprawdę z dwóch sypialni i dużej kuchni. Bardzo wygodny, zadbany i komfortowy. Położony jest w idealnym miejscu zarówno dla tych, którzy chcą mieć blisko do centrum Karpacza jak i dla tych, którzy wolą wycieczki w drugą, cichszą stronę.
