Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Konstytucji 3 Maja 82, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Apartament Przytulia. The building is this charming old structure on the second floor (no elevator, just so you know), but once you actually get inside… wow. This place has that rare thing where someone clearly put real thought into every detail without trying too hard, you know? The 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those boutique spots that doesn’t need official stars because it’s doing its own thing, and doing it really well.
What struck me most was how they’ve managed to capture that cozy mountain lodge feeling while still being, well, actually comfortable. The apartment – and it really feels like staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than a hotel room – has these beautiful wooden touches that complement the whole Karpacz mountain vibe perfectly. I mean, you’re right in the heart of this charming resort town, just a short walk from the main drag where all the restaurants and shops are, but somehow it feels peaceful. The windows face away from the busier street noise, which honestly made such a difference for sleeping. You can hear the occasional car, but mostly it’s just… quiet. Perfect after a day hiking in the Karkonosze Mountains or wandering around the Wang Church (which, by the way, is this incredible Norwegian stave church that somehow ended up here – definitely worth seeing if you haven’t been).
What really sets Przytulia apart is the attention to practical details that most places completely miss. The kitchen is actually equipped for real cooking – not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation – which came in handy when we grabbed fresh bread and local cheese from the market down the street. The bathroom has this amazing rainfall shower that felt incredible after trudging around the mountains all day. And honestly? The hosts seem to genuinely care about the experience. Check-in was smooth, they had great recommendations for local spots (including this little restaurant tucked away that we never would have found otherwise), and when we had a question about hiking trails, they spent like twenty minutes showing us different routes on their detailed local map. It’s that kind of personal touch that makes you want to come back. If you’re looking for a generic hotel experience, this isn’t it – but if you want to stay somewhere that actually connects you to Karpacz and feels like a real home base for exploring this gorgeous part of the Sudetes, Przytulia is pretty much perfect.
