Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of mountain apartments, but Apartament Pasja on Konstytucji 3-go Maja really caught me off guard – in the best possible way. Well, this was one of those pleasant surprises where you walk in and immediately think “okay, I could actually live here for a while.” The location is honestly perfect if you want to be right in the heart of Karpacz without dealing with the tourist trap chaos. You’re literally a two-minute walk from the main drag, but tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM (trust me, I’ve been there).

What struck me most was how thoughtfully everything was set up – I mean, whoever owns this place actually gets what travelers need. The kitchen isn’t just some afterthought with a mini-fridge and a hot plate; it’s properly equipped, which is huge if you’re planning to grab groceries from the Biedronka down the street and cook some meals. The whole apartment feels spacious without being echoey, if that makes sense, and there’s this cozy vibe that makes you want to hang out inside even when the weather’s perfect for hiking. The windows face a quieter side street, so you get natural light without the constant noise of cars heading up to Śnieżka. Actually, speaking of Śnieżka – you can practically roll out of bed and be at the chairlift in ten minutes on foot, which is pretty sweet if you’re here for the mountain activities.

Here’s what really sold me though: the attention to details that most places completely ignore. Good water pressure in the shower (seriously underrated), blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird – but the bed is positioned so you’re not sleeping with your head against a wall that shares plumbing with the neighbors. Little things like that tell you someone who actually travels designed this space. The building itself is solid, not one of those creaky old places where you hear every footstep above you, and parking is straightforward if you’re driving up from Wrocław or wherever. I stayed here during shoulder season in early fall, and honestly, it felt like having a local friend’s apartment to crash at rather than some sterile hotel room. The whole experience just flows naturally – easy check-in, everything works like it should, and you’re perfectly positioned to explore Karpacz without feeling like you’re stuck in the middle of tourist central. If you’re the type who appreciates when a place just gets the basics really, really right, you’ll love it here.
