The name “Panorama Sniezka” isn’t just marketing fluff – you actually get this incredible view of Śnieżka peak right from the windows, which is sort of amazing when you’re having your morning coffee. I mean, most places in Karpacz promise mountain views and deliver a glimpse of someone’s backyard, but Willawil really delivered here.

The location is what locals call “the sweet spot” – you’re on Orkana Street, which puts you close enough to walk to the main drag and all those tourist restaurants, but far enough up the hill that you’re not dealing with tour bus noise at 7 AM. Actually, that’s something I really appreciated because Karpacz can get pretty hectic during peak season, especially around the cable car station. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental – there’s this lived-in quality that I find way more comfortable than those cookie-cutter hotel rooms. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re planning to cook some of those amazing local mushrooms you can buy at the market down the hill.

What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night. You know how some mountain towns echo with every car that passes? Well, Orkana Street is positioned just right – you get the crisp mountain air and the sound of wind through the trees, but you’re not on the main route to the hiking trails so there’s no parade of early morning hikers stomping past your window. The 9.6 rating makes sense when you consider the details – decent WiFi (important if you’re working remotely from the mountains), proper heating that actually works in winter, and honestly, the cleanest bathroom I’ve encountered in a Karpacz rental. The hosts seem to understand that little things matter, like having enough towels and making sure the shower pressure doesn’t make you feel like you’re being misted by a garden sprinkler. If you’re planning to visit during autumn – which is absolutely the best time for this area, by the way – just know that this place books up fast because locals have figured out it’s one of the better options that won’t break the bank.
