Getting to the ski lifts is straightforward, though you’ll want to sort out transport or be prepared for a bit of a trek with your gear. What I really appreciated was how the host actually seemed to know the area – gave me solid recommendations for where to grab pierogi that weren’t tourist prices and which trails to hit when the main slopes get packed. The check-in was smooth, no drama, just practical information about heating, WiFi (which actually worked), and where to find extra blankets.

Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and the 7/10 rating feels about right – there were a few minor things like water pressure that could be better and the furniture that’s clearly seen some seasons.
