The location is pretty clever too – Cyrhla 2 puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk into the center (maybe 10-12 minutes to Krupówki if you don’t mind a little uphill), but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window. I stayed here during shoulder season and it was blissfully quiet at night, though I imagine summers might be different with all the hiking groups starting early. The apartment itself feels more like someone’s actual home than a rental – there’s this lived-in quality that makes you comfortable immediately. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and hot plate situation), which matters if you’re planning to cook some of those amazing local ingredients from the Saturday market.

What really works about this place is how it balances being a proper retreat with still being connected to everything. The building is well-maintained – you can tell someone actually cares about the property rather than just collecting rental fees. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around Zakopane’s narrow streets will appreciate. The 8 rating makes sense to me; it’s not luxury by any stretch, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. I’d definitely consider it again, especially for a longer stay when you want that home-base feeling rather than the hotel room shuffle. The terrace alone makes it worth booking – there’s something about having your own outdoor space in the mountains that just hits different than being stuck in a standard hotel room, you know?
