You’re positioned perfectly for exploring both the touristy bits and the local spots that most visitors miss. There’s this fantastic bakery just around the corner on Kościeliska street where locals actually go for their morning coffee – not the overpriced tourist traps on the main drag. And if you’re into hiking (which, let’s be honest, is why most people come to Zakopane), you can easily walk to the cable car stations or catch the buses to the trailheads without dealing with the parking nightmare in the town center. The hosts clearly know their stuff too – they gave me insider tips about which trails to avoid during busy weekends and where to find the best oscypek cheese that didn’t involve fighting through crowds of tour groups. Honestly, for the price point and that 9-star rating, it makes total sense. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than just another generic accommodation.
