The check-in was smooth, no weird bureaucratic hoops to jump through, and they left these little local touches that felt genuine rather than performative. The place stays surprisingly quiet even though you’re in a residential area – I slept well even during my stay in February when the town was packed with skiers. And honestly, the location works brilliantly as a base for exploring. You can walk to the cable car stations without dealing with the main street crowds, plus there’s this great local bakery just a few blocks away that opens early (the locals line up there, which is always a good sign).
