But honestly, once you step inside, you get why this place has a 9.8 rating.

The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place, if your friend happened to have really good taste in furniture and actually cared about having decent Wi-Fi. Everything’s been thought through in a way that makes you realize the owner probably stays here themselves sometimes. The kitchen has those little touches that matter – sharp knives, a coffee maker that doesn’t suck, enough counter space to actually prep a meal if you’re tired of eating out. And the bed? Look, I’m picky about mattresses, but I slept better here than I have in hotels costing three times as much. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake.

What really sealed it for me was the location – Сосновка’s one of those Polish towns where you can walk everywhere you need to go, and from Liczyrzepy street, you’re maybe ten minutes from the main square on foot. The neighborhood’s got that perfect mix of local life and tourist-friendly spots. There’s a little grocery store around the corner where the owner speaks decent English (save yourself the Google Translate fumbling), and honestly, some of the best pierogi I had in Poland came from a place just two blocks over that I never would’ve found if I’d stayed in the hotel district. Parking’s not the nightmare you’d expect either – there’s usually a spot within a block or two, though I’d avoid driving during the morning rush if you can help it. The apartment’s on the second floor, so if you’re hauling heavy luggage, just mentally prepare for that. But the check-in was smooth – the owner met me right on time and actually gave me a hand-drawn map of her favorite local spots, which turned out to be gold. It’s those little human touches that make a place memorable, you know?
