What really got me was how thoughtfully everything’s set up inside. I mean, this isn’t some cookie-cutter rental where they’ve thrown random furniture together and called it a day. The apartment feels like someone’s actual home – there are little touches everywhere that show attention to detail, from the way the kitchen’s stocked with basics you’d actually need, to how the linens smell fresh (not that weird chemical hotel smell). The space is genuinely comfortable too, with enough room to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. And honestly? The WiFi actually works well, which you can’t always count on in these mountain towns.

Here’s the thing about Kowary that people don’t always realize – it’s perfectly positioned if you want to explore the Karkonosze region without dealing with the crowds in Karpacz or Szklarska Poręba. You’re close enough to hit the trails or check out the old mine workings (which are pretty fascinating if you’re into that sort of thing), but you come back to this peaceful residential area where locals are just going about their daily lives. I loved walking down to the town center in the morning for coffee – it’s maybe a ten-minute stroll and you pass these beautiful old houses along the way. Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in the bigger tourist spots.

The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s one of those places where everything just works – the check-in process was smooth, the apartment was exactly as described (maybe even a bit nicer), and when I had a small question about the heating, the response was quick and helpful. You know what really sealed it for me though? Coming back after a day of hiking and actually looking forward to relaxing in the space, rather than just tolerating it until morning. That’s pretty rare with vacation rentals, to be honest.
