The name makes it sound like some massive hotel complex, but it’s actually this really well-done apartment setup right on Myśliwska Street – and honestly, that’s exactly what you want in Karpacz. I mean, you’re basically a two-minute walk from the main drag without dealing with all the tourist chaos right outside your window.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually thought about how people live, not just where they sleep for a night. The kitchen isn’t one of those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken coffee maker – it’s properly equipped, which is huge if you’re staying more than a couple days or traveling with kids who need familiar food. The terrace situation (hence the “tarasy” name) is legitimately nice, especially if you snag one of the units facing the mountains. I spent way too much time out there with morning coffee, watching the cable car start its first runs up Śnieżka. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a local’s well-appointed flat than staying in typical tourist accommodation.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re close enough to walk to restaurants and the lift stations. Myśliwska isn’t the main party street, so you get the convenience without the 2 AM drunk tourist soundtrack. Parking was straightforward too – none of that nightmare hunt for spaces that you get closer to the town center. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you consider it’s hitting that sweet spot of location, space, and actually functioning like a proper home base. The only thing I’d mention is that grocery runs are easiest if you have a car, though honestly, after a day hiking in the Karkonosze, the walk into town center feels like nothing. If you’re planning to explore the area beyond just Karpacz – maybe hit up Szklarska Poręba or some of the less touristy trails – having this kind of comfortable, well-located setup to come back to makes a real difference in how the whole trip feels.
