It’s tucked away on Nadrzeczna street in this quiet corner of Karpacz that most tourists never discover – honestly, I walked past it twice before realizing I’d found my home base for the next few days. The building itself doesn’t scream “look at me” from the outside, which I actually loved because it meant I wasn’t staying in some tourist trap.

The apartment itself is… well, it’s one of those places that just gets the details right. The kitchen had everything I actually needed (not just the bare minimum that most places throw together), and there’s this little balcony that overlooks the neighborhood where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch locals heading to work. I mean, it’s not a mountain vista or anything dramatic, but there’s something really peaceful about it. The Wi-Fi was solid – I had to hop on a few work calls and didn’t have any issues, which honestly saved my trip since I was supposed to be “working remotely.” The bed was comfortable enough that I overslept twice, and the shower had proper water pressure, which you can’t always count on in smaller Polish towns.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stayed at night, even though you’re still walking distance from the main drag where all the restaurants are. Karpacz can get pretty lively during peak season (I was there in July), but Nadrzeczna feels removed from all that chaos. Parking was straightforward too – there’s space right outside, which saved me from circling around looking for a spot like I had to do at my last place in Zakopane. The owner was super responsive when I had questions about check-in, and they actually gave me solid recommendations for hiking trails that weren’t completely overrun with tour groups. I ended up hitting this trail behind the town that led to some smaller waterfalls – definitely wouldn’t have found it without their tip. With a 9.3 rating, I was expecting something good, but honestly, this place exceeded what I thought I’d get for the price point in Karpacz.
