Honestly, when I first saw the name “Apartament HALNICA Pod Skocznią” I thought it was going to be some touristy nightmare, but you know what? This place actually gets it right. The location on Goszczyńskiego is perfect – you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the main drag of Krupówki, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing Polish folk songs at 2 AM (trust me, that’s a thing in Zakopane).

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious, and I mean that in the best way possible. The jacuzzi isn’t just some tiny hot tub shoved in a corner – it’s actually big enough for two people to relax without playing footsie. After spending a day hiking in the Tatras (or honestly, just walking around town in winter), sinking into that thing is pure magic. The sauna is compact but does the job perfectly, and the combination of both after a day on the slopes? Chef’s kiss. What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything felt – you can tell the owners actually care about the place rather than just collecting Airbnb cash.

The “Pod Skocznią” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either – you really are close to the ski jump area, which gives you this authentic Zakopane vibe without being stuck in the middle of nowhere. Parking was surprisingly easy (rare for this part of town), and the building itself is quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well. The 9-rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not fancy in a pretentious way, but everything works, it’s clean, and honestly, the value is incredible for what you get. I’ve stayed in “luxury” places in Zakopane that cost twice as much and didn’t have half the charm. The only tiny complaint I’d have is that the kitchen could use a few more basics if you’re planning to cook, but let’s be real – you’re in Zakopane, you’re going to be eating oscypek and drinking grzane wino anyway.
