You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Stefana Batorego 5 – I mean, it’s tucked away in this quiet corner of Kowary that most tourists completely miss. But honestly, Apartament dzika róża (that’s “wild rose” for anyone whose Polish is rusty) turned out to be one of those gems that makes you want to keep the location secret from other travelers.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s grandmother actually lived there and cared about every detail. There’s this warmth to the place that you just don’t get in cookie-cutter hotels – wooden floors that creak just enough to feel authentic, windows that open wide to let in the mountain air, and furniture that’s clearly been chosen for comfort rather than just looking good in photos. I actually spent way too much time lounging around in the morning because the light streaming in made everything feel so cozy. The wild rose theme isn’t overdone either – just subtle touches here and there that remind you where you are without beating you over the head with it. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night; Kowary isn’t exactly a bustling metropolis, but this particular stretch of Batorego feels especially peaceful once the day winds down.
Here’s the thing about staying in Kowary that nobody really tells you – you’re perfectly positioned for the Karkonosze Mountains without dealing with the crowds in Karpacz or Szklarska Poręba. From this apartment, you can actually walk to some decent hiking trails (well, decent if you don’t mind a bit of uphill), and there’s a local bakery about two blocks away that does these incredible szarlotka that’ll ruin every other apple cake for you. The host clearly knows their stuff too – they left these handwritten notes about local spots that you’d never find on TripAdvisor. I mean, who else is going to tell you which bus actually runs on time or where to find the best pierogi without tourist markup? The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward hanging around the lobby waiting for someone to acknowledge you exist. And honestly, with a 9.8 rating, I was half-expecting to find some fatal flaw that previous guests had overlooked, but after three nights there, I get it – sometimes a place just works exactly like it should.

Świetne miejsce jako bazą wypadowa. Sama mieścina skromna ale dzięki temu że jest na boku można szybko wyjechać i wrzucić. A i dla chcącego to i z miejsca można też ruszyć na trasę. Są duże szanse że jeszcze wrócę. Pozdrawiam i polecam

Kowary to piękne miasto i fantastyczne miejsce wypadowe do uprawiania turystyki pieszej i rowerowej. A sam obiekt? Położony w cichej, spokojnej dzielnicy, spełniający wszystkie nasze oczekiwania! :) Polecam! What could be improved: Wszystko było super, ale w oknie kuchennym można by zabudować roletę..., nie lubimy gdy sąsiedzi z przeciwka...

Bardzo przytulne i klimatyczne miejsce. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Parking tuż obok apartamentu. Lokalizacja również okazała się idealna, blisko term Cieplickich i innych atrakcji turystycznych. Bardzo mili i uprzejmi Właściciele.

Super lokalizacja. Cały obiekt dobrze się prezentował, był czysty i posiadał najbardziej potrzebne rzeczy na kilkudniowy pobyt.
