Apartament Dia Dione Księżycowe Apartamenty SPA Widok na Góry
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Apartament Dia Dione Księżycowe Apartamenty SPA Widok na Góry,” I thought someone had a field day with the keyboard. But you know what? Once you get past the mouthful of a name (locals just call it the moon apartments, which makes way more sense), this place on Oberconiówka actually delivers on those mountain views it promises.
The thing about staying here is that you’re sort of tucked away from the main Zakopane chaos – and I mean that in the best way possible. While everyone else is fighting for parking spots near Krupówki, you’re chilling in what feels like your own little corner of the Tatras. The spa setup isn’t some fancy resort nonsense, but it’s legit relaxing after you’ve been hiking all day. I actually spent more time in their wellness area than I planned because, honestly, my legs were screaming after tackling Morskie Oko. The mountain views from the rooms hit different too – especially in the morning when the mist is still hanging around the peaks and you’ve got your coffee going.
What really got me was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to walk into town (maybe 15 minutes if you don’t mind the slight uphill trek back), but far enough that you’re not dealing with the late-night revelry that happens closer to the main strip. The apartments themselves feel more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel – there’s actual space to spread out, and the kitchenette means you can grab stuff from the local market and cook if you want. Parking’s included, which saves you the headache of hunting for spots during peak season. The only thing I’d mention is that the check-in process can be a bit scattered if you arrive during busy times – nothing terrible, just Polish hospitality operating on Polish time, if you know what I mean. But the staff genuinely wants you to have a good time, and they’ll hook you up with solid hiking recommendations that aren’t just the tourist traps everyone hits.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
