You know what caught me off guard about this place? I was expecting just another mountain apartment rental, but this boutique spot on Tyrolska actually feels like someone’s stylish city flat that happens to have incredible Karkonosze views. The location is honestly perfect – you’re literally overlooking Sosnówka Lake, which I didn’t fully appreciate until I had my morning coffee on what I’m pretty sure is the best balcony in Karpacz.

The apartment itself is on the first floor (European style, so one flight up), and the owner clearly put thought into every detail. I mean, the kitchen has proper equipment – not those sad little hotel kettles and plastic cups you usually get. The bathroom’s got this rainfall shower that I may have lingered in longer than necessary after hiking. What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night. Karpacz can be pretty touristy, especially during ski season, but Tyrolska street is just removed enough that you don’t hear the pub crowds or early morning tour buses. You’ll still catch the occasional dog walker or jogger heading down to the lake, but it’s more peaceful neighborhood sounds than tourist chaos.

Here’s the thing about staying here versus the big hotels closer to the lifts – you’re maybe a 10-minute walk to the main action, but you feel like you’re actually living in the mountains rather than just visiting them. The lake is right there for morning walks (gorgeous in any season, honestly), and you can see the cable car line to Śnieżka from the window. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven to Karpacz in summer will tell you is not guaranteed. The 9.5 rating makes sense once you’re here – it’s one of those places where small touches add up. Fresh flowers when I arrived, local honey in the welcome basket, and the owner actually responded to my pre-arrival questions like a human being instead of sending template responses. If you’re the type who appreciates having space to spread out and actually cook a meal instead of eating every dinner at tourist restaurants, this is your spot.
