Apartament Budnicza Struga z Sauną i Parkingiem – 5D Apartamenty
Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Apartament Budnicza Struga z Sauną i Parkingiem,” I thought I was in for some basic accommodation in Karpacz. But this 5D Apartamenty place on Saneczkowa Street actually surprised me in the best way possible. The location is sort of perfect if you know the area – you’re literally a stone’s throw from the main skiing action, but tucked away on this quieter residential street where you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. The apartment itself sits on the ground floor (parter), which honestly was a relief after lugging ski equipment up three flights of stairs at other places I’ve stayed in the Karkonosze Mountains.
What really sets this place apart though is that sauna – and I mean, after a day on the slopes at Kopa or hiking up Śnieżka, there’s nothing better than having your own private sauna waiting for you. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s mountain house than a typical rental. The parking situation is actually stress-free too, which anyone who’s driven around Karpacz during peak season will tell you is worth its weight in gold. You know what really impressed me? The little details that show someone actually cares about this place – proper blackout curtains (crucial for those bright mountain mornings), a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking real meals, and the kind of thick towels that make you feel like you’re at a proper spa resort.
The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. I mean, Karpacz can be hit or miss with accommodations – you’ve got everything from Soviet-era hotels that haven’t been updated since the 80s to overpriced boutique places that look great online but disappoint in person. This apartment hits that sweet spot where it’s clearly been thoughtfully renovated but doesn’t feel sterile or corporate. Plus, being right in the heart of things means you can walk to Wang Church or grab zapiekanka from the street vendors without dealing with the nightmare that is finding parking in the town center. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the street can get a bit busy during the day (Saneczkowa connects to some of the main routes), but honestly, it’s not bothersome – just the normal sounds of a mountain town doing its thing. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a real home base for exploring the Sudetes rather than just somewhere to crash, this is it.
