The apartment itself is one of those gems that actually looks better than the photos, which never happens, right? The owner clearly knows what travelers actually need because there’s proper counter space in the kitchen (not those joke counters you usually get), decent water pressure in the shower, and – this is huge – blackout curtains that actually work. I stayed there in summer when the sun’s up at like 5 AM, and honestly, slept like a baby. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice place than staying in some sterile rental. There’s this lived-in comfort to it, but everything’s spotless and well-maintained. What I love about the location is that you’re close enough to walk to Wang Church and the main lifts without dealing with the parking nightmare around Konstytucji 3 Maja Street, but far enough that you’re not hearing drunk tourists stumbling back to their hotels at 2 AM. And here’s something the booking sites don’t tell you – there’s actually decent street parking most of the time, which in Karpacz is basically like finding buried treasure. The building itself sits in this quiet residential stretch where you’ll see actual locals walking their dogs in the morning, not just tour groups marching around with their little flags. If you’re planning to hit Śnieżka or explore the Karkonosze trails, you’re perfectly positioned without being stuck in the thick of things. Honestly, after staying in some of the bigger hotels closer to the center where you feel like cattle being herded around, this place just lets you breathe and actually enjoy Karpacz at your own pace.
