It’s right on Bulwary Słowackiego, which sounds fancy but it’s actually this lovely tree-lined street that locals use to avoid the tourist chaos in Zakopane’s center. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from Krupówki (that’s the main pedestrian strip where everyone goes), but you don’t have to deal with the noise and crowds when you want to crash for the night.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home – not in a worn-out way, but in that comfortable, lived-in sense where everything just works. I was genuinely surprised by how well-equipped the kitchen was; they’ve got proper cookware, not those flimsy pans you usually find in vacation rentals. The living area has this big window that looks out toward the Tatras, and honestly, waking up to that view never gets old, even if you’re not a morning person like me. The whole place is clean without being sterile – there’s personality here. The bathroom’s got great water pressure too, which might sound trivial until you’ve spent a day hiking in the mountains and desperately need a proper shower.

They pointed us toward this tiny pierogi place on a side street that we never would’ve found otherwise – absolutely worth it. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of Zakopane, but there’s usually space nearby, and the hosts give you the real scoop on where to look. The apartment stays pretty quiet even during busy season, probably because it’s just far enough from the main drag but close enough that you can walk everywhere. I mean, you could easily stay here for a week and feel like you’re living in Zakopane rather than just visiting it. For a 3-star place, it honestly punches way above its weight – that 9 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there.
