The living spaces feel generous too, which is rare in mountain towns where every square meter costs a fortune. I particularly loved how quiet it gets at night; you can hear the wind in the trees but none of the street noise that usually comes with staying somewhere central. The Wi-Fi actually works reliably (always a gamble in the mountains), and there’s decent parking, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Zakopane’s narrow streets will appreciate.

What really sets this place apart is how it works for different kinds of trips. If you’re here for the hiking – and honestly, why else would you come to Zakopane – you’ve got easy access to the trails without having to fight through the crowds on Krupówki every time you want to head out. But if the weather turns nasty (which it does, this is the Tatras after all), you’ve got space to spread out and relax instead of being cramped in a tiny hotel room. The staff knows the area well too; they’ll tell you which trails are actually worth your time and which restaurants the locals go to versus the tourist traps. I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and it was perfect – crisp mornings for hiking, cozy evenings cooking dinner and planning the next day’s adventure. Even when the place was full, it never felt crowded or noisy. Honestly, for the price point and that 9-star rating, you’re getting way more space and comfort than you’d find at most hotels in the area.
